Note: Died of cancer. Lung cancer and breast cancer. Viola is buried at the cemetery in Charlestown,NH. She suffered dreadfully of adult onset schizophrenia, and also of the side effects of medicene she took to control the disease. She was a very dear lady. - - - - Obituary: Viola Raqquel Olson Fish CHARLESTOWN, N.H. ? Viola Raqquel Olson Fish, 74, formerly of Barre, Vt., died Sunday evening, July 11, 2004, at the Sullivan County Nursing Home. She lived in Charlestown for twenty-five years while raising her family. She was born in Barnstable, Mass., on August 26, 1929, the daughter of Victor Jacob and Maria (Haapake) Olson. She spent her childhood in the Barre, Vt., area. While living in Charlestown she was the town auditor for a number of years and then worked as an accountant at Howe Motors in Claremont. She was a former member of the Rebekah Lodge in Charlestown, and enjoyed homemaking, sewing, gardening and baking. She was a courageous woman who struggled with Adult Onset Schizophrenia. After spending many years doing her best to cope, she spent the last four years of her life at the Sullivan County Nursing Home. The surviving family includes four daughters; Cheryl Fish of Acworth, N.H., Janis Siemens of Red Bluff, Calif., Debra Gerber and Sheila White both of Westminster, Colo.; five grandchildren and nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends may call at the Charlestown Memorial Chapel, 34 Main Street on Thursday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 1 p.m. at the Chapel with Rev. Evelyn Clowes, officiating. Interment will follow in Pine Crest Cemetery.
