  Owner of the Plains of Abraham where the battle of Quebec was fought, and a contintnent was lost, between Montcalm and Wolfe. Was in the service of the Company of Hundred Associates. He was the first to chart the course of the St. Lawrence River. Possibly a ships pilot. Definately a fisherman who regularly went well into the Gulf of the St Lawrence.
 He was imprisoned in 1649 for improper conduct towards a young girl.
