Note: Married Sept. 1889 to Rosa Hart, dau. of Daniel and Mary (Clammonds) Hart. William, a farmer and salesman of Poland China hogs, made
shipments into various states and held public sales of his stock. He was
a member of the Christian Church and was identified with the
Democratic party. He is said to have achieved success because of his
good standards, loyalty and determination. His farm was located in
Lindley Township of Mercer Co., Missouri. They had no children. His
biographical sketch appeared in "History of Harrison County, Missouri,"
1921.
