Note: N9 1900 Plaquemine, Jessamine, Kentucky - w/Walker family, Lula is listed in the index as born in Aug 1893, but is 16 years old so would have been born in 1883 - she is identified as "adopted" and very faint word "daughter" (the word "daughter" appears to have been originally written in the box and crossed out.) - race as white. Note: in the 1900 census there are 38 Lulas (14 within 5 years of being born in 1886, of whom 9 are identifed as being black, 5 white) in Jessamine County, none are identified Native American. The 1900 census lists 112 persons as Native American, none in Jessamine County and one named Lula, a Lula Cole b. Jul 1882 livining in Salyerville, Magofffin Co., KY. There are no Native Americans named Scott in KY in the 1900 census.
