 Petrolia, May 27-(Special to The Canadian Observer) - The funeral was
 held yesterday afternoon of Mrs. Hannah Annie Carr, widow of George
 O'Dell. Mrs. O'Dell died at the home of her son, George O"Dell, Huggard
 street on Monday evening following an illness of eighteen months. She was
 in her 77th year. Born at Hillsboro Beach the daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
 Andrew Carr, she came to Petrolia at the age of 21 years as the wife of
 George O'Dell, who died fourteen years ago. Living at first in Petrolia,
 they took up residence on the town line of Enniskillen and Dawn
 townships, and upon the death of her husband she returned to Petrolia.
 Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Nelson Campbell, of Petrolia; eight
 sons, William, of Horsehead Saskatchewan; Nelson, of Caroline, Alberta,
 George and Leslie, of Petrolia; Noble, of Detroit; Bruce, of Walsingham
 Centre; Kenneth, of Oil Springs; Alexander, of Chatham Township; one
 brother, Jack Carr, of Oregon; three sisters, Mrs William Seaborne, of
 Melbourne; Mrs. D. Flatters, of Grenville, Oregon, and another sister in
 North Dakota; 28 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. The service was
 conducted by the Rev. Mr. Gower, of the Dresden United Church, assisted
 by the Rev. H. V. Workman, pastor of St. Paul's United Church, Petrolia.
 The pallbearers were six sons, George, Leslie, Noble, Bruce, Kenneth, and
 Alexander Odell. Internment was at the Hillsdale cemetery, Petrolia.
