a. Note:   On August 15, 1832 Elizabeth Vanlandingham made her will, naming James Franklin Vanlandingham, son of her daughter Mildred Skidmore. He was to receive land and the house in which Elizabeth lived when James Franklin became age 21. She also mentioned her daughter Nancy Wilson and her niece Martha Arnold, her sons James and Thomas. She appointed her son James as administrator. Elizabeth signed in her own hand and James Arnold witnessed the signing.
 In a codicial dated August 24, 1832 she bequeathed land to Peyton R. Skidmore and Mildred, his wife. James Arnold and Merrit Vanlandingham witnessed the codicial. On March 5, 1833 the will was produced for probate in County Court of Boone Co., Missouri.
