a. Note:   Pauline received a Bachelor of Arts in Education from Marygrove College in Detroit, MI, and embarked on a teaching career.
  Soon thereafter she met her husband-to-be and left teaching to raise the first of her eight children.
  BOB entered service and served in the Attu Islands off Alaska, offering expert advice on diesel engines. POLLY spent most of WWII home alone, raising the first three of their children.
  Bob was general sales manager of the largest Chevolet dealership in the world after WWII.
 Later, he became owner of dealerships. They moved quite a bit because he would sell his dealership & buy another. Thus, they lived in Detroit; Kingston, NY; Lorain, OH; Bloomfield Hills, MI; Birmingham, MI.
  She loved playing bridge.
  Polly died of emphyzema, having been a smoker most of her life.
