Albert Musch came to Grandville Michigan with his wife Foski Smit, four children, and his mother, probably in 1880 or 1881. The names of the four children were: Katherine, Edo, Maggie, and Sena. His mother was Klaaske Jans Musch of Kloosterburen. We know Albert was married to Elizabeth Mulder or Miller before his marriage to Foski in June of 1876. The marriage between Albert and Elizabeth was approximately October or November 1868.
Albert had an older son, Cornelius, who was born April 3, 1865 in Warffum and died in Chicago in 1942. His mother's name is not readable on his death certificate, possibly Elizabeth Mulder or Miller? Cornelius arrived in the U.S. May 9, 1910 aboard the ship Noordam that sailed from Rotterdam, destination Paterson New Jersey where his sister Trynkje Knol was living. He was accompanied by his wife Johanna and six children; Moved to Chicago in 1914.
Albert's daughter Katherine was born Jan 31, 1868 in Warffum.
I would like to know the name of the mother of Katherine Musch and Edo Musch (maybe not the same mother). Also the name of the mother of Cornelius Musch and the parents of Trynkje Knol. I would also like to learn the name of the ship and date and place of departure for Albert and his family and his mother.
