  Lew Boggs emailed that there was a Harriet Van Buskirk married to Jacob W. Knipe in Fayette Co, IN on 4 Feb 1847. This could have been my Harriet and could possibly explain Cynthia. Cynthia may have been a daughter from Harriets first marriage, husband died, she went to live with her parents in IA, and married Christopher Wahl in 1856, so the 7 yr old Cynthia Wahl living with them in 1856 was her daughter. This is conjecture on my part.
