Note: Per the Wellman, Iowa Centennial book, Edith Fernald bought the photography business in 1891 from her sibling, Pearl Fernald. Reuben Wahl was her partner and they became married in 1892. They then sold the business to J. W. Ferris and in 1894 he moves to Keota, and they (I assume this means the Wahl's) resume the business.
