Note: Genevieve had a natural singing talent and sang with a band at "Tony's Supper Club" in Denver in the early 1930's and the program was broadcast on the radio. Although encouraged to pursue a singing career, she turned down offers of professional coaching to raise a family. Known to the family and friends as "Johnny", she accepted many invitations to sing at weddings and funerals in Boulder. She was also active in the summer theater in Boulder and played leading rolls under the direction of Robert Derlum, Professor of Drama at the University of Colorado. Genevieve is buried in the Citrus Heights Cemetery in California.
