  Source: Marriage Bond in Lincoln Co., KY for $100.00 signed by William Green Ball to marry Nancy J. Reynolds. residence of the groom on that date, Sept. 22, 1866, was Buchanan Co., Mo. His age was 20 years, occupation, farmer, to be married at home of Susan A. Reynolds. The document was witnessed by John A. Singleton. Attached to this bond is a note "you said you wanted to marry and I know you can't get your lisons without my permission as you are under age so now I will give you fool permishion to get your license and marry and come a long home and I will do the best I can for you."
