Note: Jeremiah, Daniel and family and Garret Vandemark and his family came to Grove Port, Oh. in 1810. Garret's Daughter was Jane Vandemark. They all came here to Ohio in 1810. Daniel and Jane had a son Gideon, born Feb 18, 1809. I found his death records and it says Daniel and Jane are his Parents. Daniel born 1790 and Jane born 1791. Now the name Garret and Garred get interchanged often. I found Garred's tombstone and the death was 1841. I have a whole story about how Garred was adopted by his sister and brother in law, Benjamin and Sarah Vandermark in 1767. Two other siblings Jean and Esther adopted at the same time, so Garred and his siblings were actually Brinks, not Vandermark's. They all changed there names to Vandemark after coming to Ohio and in Jeremiah's will.
