Notes
a. Note:   Name: Magdalena BRYNARSKI
 Sex: F
 Birth: 1849 in Poland
Death: 3 MAY 1926 in Shenandoah, Pennsylvania
 Note:
John and Magdalena (Brynarski) Pyzowski with five of their six children left Nowy Targ, Galicia, Poland to emigrate to Shenandoah, Pennsylvania, United States of America where Magdalena had a brother, Frank Brynarski in Shenandoah, Pennsylvania.
Anna Pyzowski Mitan a daughter remained in Poland. She was married and had two children, Mary Mitan (Weber) and Louis Mitan.
Anna came to the United States at a later date (when??) to join her parents. Mary and Louis accompanied her.
The family sailed from Breman, Germany on the S.S. Koln on June 08, 1901 arriving in New York, Ellis Island, June 23, 1901.
At the National archives in Washington, District of Columbia, there is a microfilm of the passanger list of the S.S. Koln on which are listed John Pyzowski and his family. Interesting note was the amount of money they had for the whole family which was $78.00.
Sometime in 1990, the Ellis Island Foundation will open "The Ellis Island Immigration Museum." In that museum will be "The American Immigrant Hall of Honor." Listed on this wall will be names of immigrants and the countries from which they emigrated.
I have arranged to have John Pyzowski and Magdalena Brynarski Pyzowski listed on this wall of honor. Names are on Panel #355.
