Let me give brief review of what I think I know of Floyd & Marguerite and maybe together we can confirm:
  --Floyd E Vandiver b 28 JAN 1904 Bozeman, MT to Stephen H Vandiver & Mary E M Daugherty
--Floyd marries Marguerite Rose Turner (see attachment) 30 OCT 1926, child Ina b abt 1928, resides in Greenacres WA as per 1930 US Census
--Floyd marries Caroline Smyth 14 DEC 1936 in Newport WA
 --Floyd marries Thelma A Kenyon Buff 1937, child Diane L b 7 FEB 1937, Lynda M b 22 AUG 1940
--Floyd divorces Thelma prior to 1955 when Thelma remarries Jack French 17 OCT
--Marguerite Rose Turner b 1908 Princeton, BC, Canada to Robert W Turner and Wilhelmina Hagerman
--(see attachment re marriage to Floyd)
--1930 US Census shows residence in Greenacres WA w/ daughter Ina b abt 1928
--Marguerite divorces Floyd prior to 1937 when she marries James Fred Buff (my gr-grandfather & Thelma's former father-in-law) 26 FEB 1937 (see attachment)
Thelma is more of a conundrum which we still need to unravel. As I said, I've been doing this blindly since about March this year and try to learn every day. I haven't figured terminology for relations but somehow you and I are related-removed-something-or-another. I hope this info fits with your knowledge which may confirm. Now it's on to Thelma again. Care to hear?
  Steve
