General Notes for Samuel LUCKETT Jr. =============================== Samuel received 'Hussey's Discovery' from his father's will. 11 J un 1712 Samuel, described as the son & heir of Samuel LUCKETT late of Char les Co, deceased, conveyed to Michael MARTIN, the land that, William SMO OT about 2 Aug 1864 conveyed to Samuel LUCKETT Elder known as 'Johnson's C hoice' acknowledged by Samuel and Ann LUCKETT, witnessed by Thomas ORE LL & Ben WHITE. 1714 Samuel LUCKETT and John BEALE were witnesses at the w ill of Thomas LILLEY, of Charles Co, who died without issue. He probably died intestate before 1725, apparently sustaining fina ncial reverses, consequently his estate was negiligible. His widow was nam ed 3 Apr 1750-6 Jul 1750 in the will of their unmarried son Benjamin. It w as proven by John ROBEY, Elizabeth COOPER, and Elizabeth LUCKETT. He devis ed his brother Thomas 50a 'Maner land' adjoining tract 'Quick Dispatch' a nd appointed him executor, and various personalty.
