Note: Thomas Luckett, son of Samuel and Elizabeth (Hussey) Luckett, was born Aug ust 12, 1688, at the head of Port Tobacco Creek, Charles County. His wi fe was Sarah, presumably a scion of the Catholic family of Boone in Charl es County. Two sons have been placed - John Boone and Samuel (q.v.). Th at there were other children is probable. Thomas Luckett died intestat e, and in accordance with the customs of the times, letters of administrat ion were issued to his widow Sarah Luckett. On August 14, 1734, William Mi ddleton and William Hagan exhibited bond in court. His brothers, Ignati us Luckett and Thomas Hussey Luckett, as the kinsmen, certified on Decemb er 3, 1734, to the inventory appraised at 04/5/9, by James Middleton. By 1 737 his widow had married William Semmes. (56)
