Toulon- Merwyn (Bud) Frail, 67, of 525 E. Jefferson, Toulon died at 9:08 p.m., Sunday October 24, 1993, at Kewanee Hospital.
Born Nov. 7, 1925, in Toulon, the son of Sam and Pauline Dixon Frail he married Florence Bishop Dec. 1, 1944, she died Aug. 21, 1950. He then married Pauline Van Dran August 23, 1952.
She survives along with two sons Chuck Frail of Kewanee and Tech Sgt. Michael Frail of Goldsboro, NC; four daughters, Linda Streitmatter, Donna Jones, and Pam Hendricks, all of Toulon, and Brenda Smith of Kewanee; 16 grandchildren, two great grandchildren; two sisters, Darlene Ingle, Onieda, and Majel Fritch of Toulon; two brothers, Don Frail of Toulon, Dutch Frail of Toulon and Merle Frail of Peoria. He was preceded in death by a grandson.
He served in the Army from 1946-47. He worked for Stoecker, Princeville, for 30 years, retiring in 1981. He was also a member of the Toulon American Legion.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 27 in Kidd Funeral Home, Toulon with the Rev. Dave Venter officiating. Burial will be in Toulon Cemetery. Visitation is Wednesday, one hour prior to the service.
