Notes
a. Note:   The fact that in 1850 a son named william Nash lived with Joseph and Caroline leads me to believe that Nash is not her maiden name but from a previous marriage. That makes sense as she was 34 when she married Joseph Van Dran. there was also an abram spry living with them in 1850. some people have decided they are van drans and list them as this couples children. So all this Nash line may belong to her first husband. In fact it does. she married John Nash 1831 in CT and then he apparently died and she married Johann Joseph Van Dran in 1844 in OHIO.
