Obituary: Pearl Van Dran is dead at 85; Rites on Friday
Mrs. Pearl Van Dran of Collins died yesterday afternoon at the Story County Hospital in Nevada. Mrs. Van Dran, 85, was a long time Collins Resident and the wife of the former mayor, Louis Van Dran.
Funeral Services will be at 1:30 pm. friday in Cooper's funeral home in Maxwell, {Iowa} Elder Charles Lehman will officiate.
Burial will be in the Collins Evergreen Cemetery.
Surviving are her husband, Louis Van Dran, who is at Borton's Nursing home in Nevada {Iowa} and two sisters, Mrs. Robert Lawson of Rockford, IL. and Mrs. George Smith of California.
Friends may call at the Cooper Funeral home in Maxwell.
