Note: Betty Louise Walden moved to Fort Wayne, Ind. about 1929 where she attended the Nebraska School. She and her husband James Rummel migrated to LaPorte County, living at Hudson Lake. During World War Two both Jim and Betty worked in Defense Plants. After Jim's death she removed to Ligonier, Ind and and operated a Truck Stop for seven years. She then remarried to George Himes and moved to Milford, Ind. Where she resided in till her death.
