 VANDYKE, MR. ABRAHAM

 Passed away Friday afternoon at 1 o'clock after a lingering illness. Mr. VanDyke was born October 19, 1886, the son of Peter and Martha Apple VanDyke and had been a life resident of Kalamazoo. He had been a machinist until his retirement in 1952. Surviving are his wife, Johanna; 2 daughters, Miss Mae Frances VanDyke and Mrs. Margaret VanHaaften, both of Kalamazoo; two sisters, Mrs Harry Cooper of Kalamazoo and Mrs. Sara Beckman of Royal Oak. Friends are being received at the Wager & Clark Chapel, where private funeral services will be held Monday morning at 10 o'clock, Mr. Guy Graham officiating. Interment in the family lot, Riverside cemetery.
