 Mrs. Marie MacIntosh, 70, of 25 MacIntosh Lane, North Sydney, died Aug. 11, 2002, at the Northside General Hospital.
 Born in Sydney Mines, she was the daughter of the late James and Catherine (Habbda) McNamara.
 She was a member of St. Matthew-Wesley Church, North Sydney, a member of the Sydney Mines Legion Ladies Dart League and a life member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 008, Sydney Mines.
 She is survived by four daughters, Rhonda (Thane) Gill, Bon-Accord, Alta., Kathy (Martin) Balah, St. Catharines, Ont., Wynn MacIntosh, Mississauga, Ont., Mary Helen (Bob Luker), North Sydney; five sons, Robert (Janice), Sydney Mines, George (Cathy), North Sydney, Everett (Vera), North Sydney, Jim (Cathy), Burlington, Ont., John (Michelle), Mississauga, Ont.; three brothers, George (Sarah) McNamara, Sudbury, Ont., Tom (Mable) McNamara, Sudbury, Ont., James ?Frankie' (Shirley) McNamara, Vancouver; 23 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
 She was predeceased by her husband, Everett ?Tosh', daughter, Karl, an infant daughter and her sister, Nell Finocanne.
 There will be no visitation. Memorial services will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. in St. Matthew-Wesley United Church with Rev. Bill Thomas officiating. Burial will be in Brookside Cemetery under the direction of Fillmore and Whitman Funeral Home. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
