Note:   Christine Isabel MacAulay 93, North Sydney Christine Isabel MacAulay 93, a resident of Taigh Solas, 3rd floor, Northside General Hospital and formerly of Queen Street, North Sydney and of Black Rock, passed away Saturday, June 15, 2002, at the Northside General Hospital. Born in Big Bank, Boularderie, she was a daughter of the late Murdock and Bessie (MacDonald) MacNeil. Christine was a member of St. Giles Presbyterian Church, North Sydney, a member of St. James Presbyterian Church, Big Bras d'Or, the Atlantic Missionary Society and of the North Sydney Senior Citizens and Pensioners Club. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She is survived by son, Harold (Edie) MacAulay, North Sydney; and daughter, Bessie (Gordon) Rogers, North Sydney. She will be lovingly remembered by grandchildren, Treva Fraser (Gratten), Valerie Rogers, Karen Campbell (Donald), Harold MacAulay Jr. (Marie), Wendy Murphy (Mike), Patricia Francis (Paul), Jennifer MacAulay and Ann MacAulay; great-grandchildren, Erin, Sarah, Brian, Sean, Michela, Ryan, Patrick, Shawn, Stacey, Shelly, Samantha, Ryan; special Nan to Paula, Cynthia and Stewart; nieces, Sandra Newman, Heather Mills, Elizabeth Barbour and Beverly Blanchard. She was predeceased by her husband, Kenneth; three brothers, Phillip, Jack and Alec. Visitation held 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Sunday in the W.J. Dooley Funeral Home, 107 Pleasant Street, North Sydney. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. today from St. Giles Presbyterian Church, North Sydney with Rev. Ritchie Robinson officiating. Burial to follow in Black Rock Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to St. Giles Presbyterian Church or to Taigh Solas, Northside General Hospital.
