Notes
a. Note:   From Teresa: Aunt Maud had three husbands, whom she always called by their last names, so I never knew their first names. There was: "Mr. Baker" "Mr. Hatcher" and "Mr. Beaty" Mom said one of the husbands was common law. One of them ran off and left her, according to family rumor. At least two of them were married before, because I remember her discussing that she would be buried by Mr. (I can't remember which) because all the others had wives to be buried by. I knew Aunt Maud pretty well, as she lived in Hermatage Hills (about 2 streets over from our house). One of her grown & married children by Mr. Baker lived next door to Aunt Maud. We saw her quite frequently, and she was a real corker. She knew quite a lot of gossip, and was good with a slingshot. She used to get on the side porch & shoot at the neighborhood dogs. Before she moved to Hermitage Hills, she lived in a house across the street from the Vanderbilt football stadium, which she pronounced STEW-dee-um. The two siblings that CS Winfree had that died young are in Granny's Bible.
