  Bill, Somewhere along the line, Charlie moved in with Chloe. As I recall, possibly around 1949 she had to put him into (county home?) as he wandered and became confused and really lost it.
 She said he would wake up thinking it was time to do the chores and be talking to the animals and she and Mac couldn't restrain him and neighbors would call after C and M found him missing from the Parnell area. She was so lovingly attached to him it must have been awful to see him go down like that.
  On 26 April 1999, Rusty Ellis wrote to Bill Martin: Oh, yes, Charlie's huge hands. I also remember Minnie's hands. My vision includes flour dusted hands banging out pie dough in the kitchen on E Monroeville Rd with Peanuts the dog right there, just like my dog, trying to catch scraps of any sort!
