MARY VAN LIEW married Jacob Probasco of New Jersey. She was already married when her father's will was drawn in 1712. Jacob Probasco was a son of Stoeffel Probasco who in turn was a son of Jurian Probasco the Immigrant of 1654. Now Stoeffel Probasco was, with Frederick Van Liew of 1670, one of the purchasers of the 10,000 acre "Harrison Plot" comprising most of the present Franklin Township, Stoeffel Probasco's "Lot" of 1200-1300 acres lying adjacent to the land of Frederick of 1670 at Three Mile Run. Stoeffel's son Jocob and Mary Van Liew lived at Three Mile Run on part of this original purchase of their father's, Stoeffel's.
