 Note: Buried in old Cedar Springs Cemetery, Lamar Tounship, Clinton County, PA. William was a farmer. Last census (1850) lists him as laborer and blind. Blinded by torch igniting gas in a well he was repairing. William served in the War of 1812 in the Warrio Run Rifle Company from Northumberland County, PA. The commander of this unit was court-martialed. The 1840 census lists 2 females between Mary and Elizabeth.
