Note: Jacob had a grocery store in Viola and lived on Maple Avenue. His will gave personal property in his house on Main Street in spring Valley to his
daughters Emma Young Cole and Malvina Young Inglis, the remainder to
his sons Alfred and Edward and the two daughters. A son David died in
1879. Another son Charles received a $500 bond and mortgage for the
house in which he lived in Spring Valley.
