a. Note:   He died suddenly of a heart condition no one knew about. This was while the family was living in the smaller house on Seminary Street, the one Fred Ellsworth and Lucy Rose rented before they moved to Dos Palos.
  He was playing tennis with friends. The rest of the family went to visit Ruth and Bud. He got home, was home alone and called them. While talking to his mother his voice became slurred and she said "we have to get home." The doctor came but there was nothing to be done and Jimmy died that night at home.
