Deceased Name: Alice Van Rossem
Alice Frances Van Rossem, 74, a 15-year resident of Yucca Valley, died Feb. 19, 2002, at home.
She was born Aug. 6, 1927, in Pasadena to George and Alice Teagarden Russell. She married Adriaan Van Rossem in 1962 in Yuma, Ariz.
She owned Memory Lane Antiques in Santa Cruz for 20 years.
She is survived by her husband, Adriaan of Yucca Valley; two daughters, Linda Koontz of Hilmar and Anne Bouroque of Oakland, Maine; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Private arrangements are being handled under the direction of Rose Mortuary of Desert Hot Springs.
Interment will be in District Cemetery in Hilmar.
The family suggests donations to Unity House of Yucca Valley or Visiting Nurses Association of Yucca Valley.
