In witness whereof (written by William McGowane, town clerk of Whitherne) I have subscribed these presents, at Myrtoune, 19 January 1695,
Before these witnesses, Patrick Vans in Slewhobard, Francis Vans his son, Mr Andrew Patersone, schoolmaster in Myrtoune, and the said William McGowane, writer aforesaid.
