a. Note:   N1304 In 1745 Sir John Dunlop of Dunlop was deputed by the gentlemen of Ayrshire, together with Sir Thomas Wallace, 4th. Bt.; 20th. of Craigie and 25th. of Riccarton, to offer the assistance of the County of Ayr to His Royal Highness The Duke of Cumberland.
