Notes
a. Note:   N1313 Sir Thomas Dunlop-Wallace of Craigie and Lochryan was the second son and the eldest surviving son of Sir John Dunlop of Dunlop and of Frances Anna Wallace, only daughter and only surviving child of Sir Thomas Wallace, 4th. Bt.; 20th. of Craigie and 25th. of Riccarton, and Eleanor Agnew, daughter of Lieutenant Colonel Andrew Agnew of Lochryan and Agnes Kennedy of Kirkhill, Dunure, Bargany and Dalquharran. He assumed the surname of Dunlop-Wallace (instead of Wallace-Dunlop, his surname at birth) so as to inherit the Wallace estates, including Craigie, from his maternal grandfather Sir Thomas Wallace, 4th. Bt.; 20th. of Craigie and 25th. of Riccarton.
Between 1803 and 1814 Sir Thomas Dunlop-Wallace was a prisoner of war in France.
