Note: James L. Labin jr. was in the U.S. Army Air Forces, 734th Bomber Squadron, 453rd Bomber Group, Heavy as a rear tail gunner. He was shot down over the English Channel Friday, Aug. 11th, 1944 and is memorialized at Cambridge American Cemetery in Cambridge, England. He recieved the Army Air Medal and the Purple Heart
