Note: {geni:about_me} The following poem was written by C.H. Snyder as an advertisment in the Rockford, OH newspaper. Know all ye good people, Surrounding our Rockford town, If your mower is broke up Or your binder broke down, Just bring them to Snyder, The Hustler Blacksmith Shop man Where everything is fixed, So it will never need it again. It may be a planter, A disc or a rake, A waggon or a buggy, A fifth wheel or a brake, A tongue or a pole, A reach or a thill; THen bring on your work, You will find a reasonable bill. If you are wanting new wheels, Either heavy or light, At Snyder's repair shop You will be fitted our right. We furnish new tops, Stubs, tires, rubber and steel, And do any repairs That can be done on any old wheel. We sometimes fix castings That are hard ones to do, But when they are done They are as good as new. Weh you want a job done complete Just give Snyder a call Any day in the week. If in need of a new buggy, The "Peabody" is the best, They've been running for years, And have always stood the test. Drop in and see Snyder, Peabody agent, you know, He has a fine stock All ready to show. If on your way in You notice your horse is a cripple, Let Snyder shoe him And he will be tickled. Then go home rejoicing And bear it in mind, That Snyder's general repair shop Is as good as you will find On the west side of North Main street In Rockford, you will see The Hustler Blacksmith Shop As plain as can be- That's me. C.H. Snyder
