Note: The Saratogian, Saratoga, NY, June 22, 1921 Holland Steele of Schenectady and Mrs. Nell Bernstein of New York were called here by the serious illness of their mother, Mrs. Fannie Steele. Saratogian, Saratoga, NY, Wednesday, January 11, 1922 Mrs. Fannie Steele died at her home, 2 Campbell Place, Schenectady, yesterday afternoon at 4 o'clock. Mrs. Steele is survived by two brothers, the Rev. S. L. Holland and J. J. Holland, of this city; two sisters, Mrs. Nancy Shea of Schenectadyt and Mrs. John Ross of Hadley; one daughter, Mrs. Max Burnstein, of Boston, MA; and a son Holland Steele. Funeral-Friday; Buria-Corinth Cemetery. Schenectady NY Gazette, Thursday, January 12, 1922 "Mrs. Fannie Steele, 65, died on Tuesday, at the home of her son Holland Steele, of 2 Campbell place, after nearly a year's illless, will be buried in the Corinth Rural cemetery tomorrow.....Mrs. Steele had lived in Schenectady about six years, coming here from Hadley where she had spent most of her life. Besides her son, Holland Steele of this city, she leaves a daughter, two brothers, and two sisters.
