a. Note:   Nora, George's mother, died at age 24 in 1907 leaving three children Hazel 5 yrs.old, Hattie 3 yrs.old and George 2 yrs.old.
 Hattie and George were raised by James and Margaret (Robinson) Tudehope in Linwood, Ks .
 and were adopted legally in 1946.
 Hazel lived in several homes, last with Hugh and Sadie Parry in Linwood , Ks.
 James Tudehope and Sadie Parry are brother and sister.
 Hazel remembers George playing the organ in church, Hattie would sing.
 He continued playing the organ in his attending church many years.
 He completed three years of college, University of Kansas and Kansas State.
 He majored in chemistry. George worked for A&M Extension Service forty years.
 He moved to Texas in 1931. George and Mary were married in San Antonio, Bexar Co. Texas.
 They were of Methodist faith.
 They are buried in Salem Sayers Cemetary in San Antonio, Bexar Co.Texas.
 George's children have copies of his birth and death records from Social Security.
