RICHARD AMAYA
ARANSAS PASS - The Rosary will be recited for Richard Amaya, 23, of Aransas Pass, at 7 p.m. Thursday in the Marshall Funeral Home chapel. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Friday in St. Mary’s Star of the Sea Catholic Church. Military graveside services will be conducted at Prairie View Cemetery.
Amaya died Tuesday of injuries suffered in a motorcycle accident in Corpus Christi. It was the 26th traffic fatality in Corpus Christi this year-the same as this time in 1972.
Born in Corpus Christi, Amaya had lived here 20 years.
