Isaac appears on the 1827 and 1835 State Censuses of Miami County, Ohio.
On 26 Mar 1859, Isaac Boyer sold to his sister, Catherine M. Tarman, lot 35-575 Charleston St. lot 13. Then on 1 Dec 1858, at the settling of his father's financial affairs, there was a transaction of property from "Dan" [Daniel], "Ike" [Isaac], "Joe" [Joseph] amd Wm. [William], all brothers, selling to their sister, Catherine M. Tarman further property on Charleston Lot 13. These are the only two land transactions in Miami County, Ohio which name Isaac Boyer.
According to his children's places of birth, Isaac was in Miami Co., Ohio until about 1854-55. His last child was born in Iowa. This means he needed to return to Ohio to settle his father's affairs in 1858 and 1860 from Mahaska Co., Iowa, where he was then living, according to his father's obituary.
Father's obituary from TROY OHIO TIMES, 3 Nov 1858. Transcript copy of Jonathan Boyier (Boyer)'s death certificate, Miami Co., Ohio Probate file #3164.
