  A Joshua Reeder appears on the 1840 Census for Montgomery county, Ohio in the Centerville area. There are seven other Reeder or Reeder-related families living in a row on that census. Research continues to determine his relationship to the other families.
  Joshua is not the Joshua who is the son of Simon Reeder and Elizabeth Calvin. It is known that he had a brother, Charles, who died in the Mountain Meadows Massacre, and no Charles appears in that family.
