 !3. Census records for 1850, 1860 and 1870, St. Lawrence Co., New York, show Edward to be a farmer, living with his wife, Sarabetta in Stockholm. His parents and his sister Mary S. (or Marah) were living with them. The farm was near Knapp's Station (now West Stockholm). Directories in 1873 and 1874 referr to him as a hop raiser and farmer with 111 1/2 acres of property in North Stockholm.
