 1880 Census shows him as age 86 living with his daughter Bethia ("Bethiar") and her husband, Alba Woodard, who is mistakenly recorded as his brother-in-law rather than his son-in-law. He had apparently been transferred to the home of his son, Stephen prior to the time of his death.
