 Family records located so far only list sons, but there were probably more children born between 1842 and 1855.
  The 1880 Census for Ludington, Eau Claire, Wisconsin FHL film # 1255425, NA film # T9-1425, pg. 447C lists him as "Stepen B. Grandy", farmer, age 57, born in Canada. His father's place of birth is given as Vermont, and he didn't recall or state where his mother was born.
  Phyllis Richards Kyle, Supplement to Robert Grandy of Boston and Roxbury, MA, 1674 (1982), FHL fiche # 6046529.
 shows his death and burial as 3 Nov 1891 Nora Springs, Mitchell Co., Iowa. However, His tombstone in the Ludington Cemetery in Eau Claire, Wisconsin next to his wife shows his death date to be 3 Feb 1887.
