a. Note:   !1. Will of Reuben Thomas, Page Co. Court Records, FHL# 003370 1831-1848 Marriage records state she is the daughter of Reuben Thomas. Record for sister Mary states she is daughter of Reuben and Sarah Thomas.
  Pedigree states she was born 1763 but this does not fit recent research information. Pedigree was prepared about 1930 by Effie Dunham and Esther Clay (FHL film 0271436, #7D600). Since she married in 1798, she is more likely to have been born about 1777 as an approximation, although she could have been younger.
  She apparently died about the same time as her husband. There is no probate located for either of them in Madison or Rockingham counties, but this was often the case when the property was left in the family.
