Miami Co., Ohio Marriage Record Book D; A marriage record shows Catherine married 19 Oct 1830 to George W. Simonds. Catherine was stated to be 31 years of age and born in Maryland, on the 1850 Census for Harrison Twp., Montgomery County, Ohio. Her second husband, Amos Tarmon is also stated to be 31 years and born in Maryland. His occupation is given as "miller". [1850 Census, Harrison Twp. Montgomery County, Ohio, pg. 290 FHL film # 444707]. On 1 Dec 1858, there is recorded a sale of a parcel of the above Lot Number Thirteen from "Dan" [Daniel], "Ike" [Isaac], "Joe" [Joseph], and Wm. [William] to their sister, Catherine M. Tarman. This is the only land transaction in Miami County listed for Daniel Boyer or Joseph Boyer. 21 April 1860, William Senseman, administrator of Jonathan Boyer's estate, sold the remainder of Jonathan's property to himself and then resold it for the sum of $110 to Jonathan's youngest daughter, Catherine M. Tarman, stated to be a widow (However, her second husband, Amos Tarmon, did not die until after 1872, although he was declared "insane" some time before), on that same date.
