Note: !BIRTH: Bible of Samuel SUMMERS;; in poss of June HILL of Berryville, Arkansas in 1995. !NOTE: According to Patty WOODALL's notes she sent to Virginia Summers-Arnold in 2004, "Matthew married Elizabeth ISBELL, circa 1824. They lived near Rash and near his brother, John. They did not live on Crow Creek but are on the 1830, 1840, and 1850 census of Jackson County, Alabama. By 1851 Matthew SUMMERS and his family had moved to Marshall County, Alabama where they bought land. With county boundary changes this land ended up in DeKalb County, Alabama. Sometime after the 1860 census Elizabeth SUMMERS moved to Lawrence County, Alabama to be near her son, John Isbell SUMMERS"
