  !NOTE: At the Wheat group on Yahoo part of a posting that was posted on Thu Dec 7, 2006 was the following: Joseph Wheat, b. 1815, AL, and his wife Malitta/Mollitty/Matilda ? Wheat had at least five sons. One was Joseph "Joe" Morgan Wheat. When Joe died on 8/1/1933, his son Othis/Otis/Ottus filled out his father's death certificate. On the certificate there was a space for him to fill in Joe's mother's maiden name (which would have been Malitta/Mollitty/Matilda's). Othis/Otis/Ottus put down "Recors."
