Note: BIOGRAPHY: See Benjamin H. Shoemaker 3rd,"Shoemaker Pioneers". HBLL: CS 71 .S558 1975. p. 161 lists Hazel as a child of Henry Shoemaker and Hannah More Shoemaker.
"Ancestral History of the Shoemaker Family" - sent to me by someone whose name I did not record. It says on p.10 of the document that Hazel died young.
Hazel is not listed in Henry Shoemaker's will. There is a record which says she went to Ohio and died there. I don't have the record, and have no proof of this statement.
