Notes
a. Note:   SOURCE: See Benjamin H. Shoemaker 3rd,"Shoemaker Pioneers". HBLL: CS 71.S558 1975. "Dorothy Shoemaker, his sister, also moved to Deerfield Township, purchasing a house and lot there in 1799. She died prior to 1833, leaving her money to Henry's oldest son, John." p. 160
It appears that Johannes Boshard and Dorothea Schumacher were never married. Dorothea Shoemaker was always known by the Shoemaker name, and there are no other records I can locate for Johannes Boshard in the area.
There was a Boshard on 1773/1774 tax lists in the county.

Note:   Place of burial is assumed. No tombstone or sexton record has been found of her burial.
